CHOCOLATE ORANGE CAKE
INGREDIENTS
• 250G UNSALTED BUTTER
• 200G DARK CHOCOLATE, BROKEN INTO PIECES
• 600G GOOD, THIN-CUT MARMALADE
• 300G CASTER SUGAR
• A PINCH OF SALT
• 2 EGGS, BEATEN
• 300G SELF-RISING FLOUR
METHOD
1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 180ºC
2. BUTTER TO MELT. STIR WITH WOODEN SPOON UNTIL BUTTER AND CHOCOLATE ARE MIXED WELL.
3. ADD MARMALADE, SUGAR, SALT AND EGGS. STIR BEAT IN THE FLOUR.
4. PUT INTO A TIN AND BAKE FOR ABOUT 50 MINUTES.
ORANGE ALMOND MIX CAKE
INGREDIENTS
• 4 LARGE ORANGES
• 12 EGGS
• 500 G SUGAR
• 2 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
• 500 G GROUND ALMONDS
METHOD
1. BOIL ORANGES FOR TWO HOURS.
2. PREHEAT OVEN TO 190ºC/375ºF. PULP THEM IN A FOOD PROCESSOR BY HAND or with machine,
3. BEAT EGGS IN A BOWL. ADD ALL THE OTHER INGREDIENTS, MIX WELL. POUR INTO PREPARED TIN.
4. BAKE FOR 55 MINUTES,
