11. White Forest Cake

 White forest cake

 Eggs 8g

·      Castor sugar 620g

·      Cake flour 4 cup

·      Baking powder 30ml

·      Salt 2ml

·      Milk 500ml

·      Butter 20g

·      Vanilla essence 10ml

·       Instructions:

·         Beat eggs and sugar till creamy.

·         Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.

·         Add to egg mixture. Heat milk and butter. Stir until butter is melted.  Add essence.

·         Add milk mixture and cake mixture mix well.

·         Spoon mixture into two greased cake pans.

·         Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes.

·         Layer the cake with half the icing.

·         Icing to ice top of cake.

Icing:

·         200g butter

·         500g icing sugar (sifted)

·         20ml vanilla essence

·         40ml milk

Instructions:

Cream butter and icing sugar together. Add essence and milk, spreadable consistency.

Sandwich cake layers with half the icing. And at ice at top of cake.

Add cherries, nuts, chocolate chips

For the cream, 1/4 cup castor sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla essence.
